YOG RIPOFF WRITER'S TALK
Heeeh omggggggg hurhur.Spazz mode totally but not as much as my Superrunningheart luh.
OKAAAAAY so turns out the YOG athletes thing where I was supposed to go and see the athletes and get their autographs and hear them talk about their experiences was a total RIPOFF. Cos it wasn't even YOG athletes. It was about some Asian writers short story competition-.-
The only thing that came close was the Special Olympic Japanese girl who talked about her experiences.
Was super pissed off and felt very cheated but I guess it was worth it that we stayed? Me, Jocelyn and Sharlene stayed till the end cos we felt bad about leaving just like that when it wasn't Miss Praveena's(she was told wrongly or something) or the authors or the organisers faults right? :X Yeah. Okay actually it was Jocelyn who persuaded us to stay, so we reluctantly did! Some people rudely went off and even RAAAAAN off without giving even an excuse.
Anyway, the point is in the end they authors were these young teenagers from about 15-17 years old, coming from HK(who was born in England), Indonesia, India and of course 2 Singaporeans.
HAH! OMGGGGG there's this cute guy(; REAAAALLY. Heee I got his autograph.
So it was worth it! Not only because of all the picturetaking and autographs sessions, but also because of the food(I ate like 8 or more pieces of cake cos I felt cheated) and cos of the special olympic girl! (; She's so cuteeeeee! And her story's really touching anyway.
So I guess majorly paid off and I could answer to my conscience anyway. Finally.It was fun actually. And I got a free book and free autographs(5) and food and pictures:D
Still, no YOG though /:
