What can I say? The concert was just great. Bombastic. Even though at the starting I waited for Janice for one hour at the Singapore Expo mrt station and we only ate bread for dinner, and I was in a bad mood. Yeah. Met up with Jamie and Ying Ying but they sat with their friends.
We sat on the floor again! Just like last year, we decided to be crazy teenagers(Janice's words). And when it started, we jumped around and sang like mad(I doubt Janice really sang). Trust me Janice, God will never scold you for singing even if you sing like crap or whatever. Anyway, yeah it was fun, I'll go again if I could! Next year. (: I went last year with Jamie and Pei Ning. Seems like just yesterday again! That it was Hillsong last year. And we bought the shirt! It was crazily expensive, 25 bucks and considering I have no money. But we shared it so I guess it's okay. I just can't resist temptation ;D
And the speaker was really funny. He was telling us the story of his first date. When they were walking, he wanted topop the question. And you know what he said? He said, "Pastor ___forgot his name____ said I could hold your hand." And then he held out his hand straight. HAHAH! Who does that, seriously? And then eventually they held hands, and in that position, he started singing "A Whole New World". Can you believe it? On the date itself. Oh my G, that is so cute. And then, he went on to marry her! So that means, he only dated one woman in his life and only had one girlfriend in his life. So devoted!
Seriously, that is so damn cute! If somebody does that to me, I'll laugh like crazy and pinch his cheeks or something. Really, I will. Especially if it's on the first date. Cos it means that guy is as mad as me.
And Janice's parents fetched me to Bartley. Her mother is so cute! Cos we were at the one side of the Bartley mrt and my father was at the other side of the Bartley mrt station entrance waiting for me. I wanted to get down but she insisted that we waited for my father. And you know what she said? "Just now got so many men, if you go down, they just snatch you away."Or something like that. That is so cute! That's pretty much how the night went. Janice refused to stand up at first even though everybody stood up during Hillsong concerts. But she could only refuse for like less than a minute. (:
The Hillsong concert was inspiring! This sounds like an English composition. But it's true.
