Kind of like performance reviews...of the semifinals 4
F1谢慧娴 Seah Hui Xian: Love Me Again原唱者: 潘嘉丽, Kelly
Hui Xian's lownotes are too muffled and she had difficulties with them.Some of her words are shaky and unstable like 爱你 and 世界.But I felt that the sweetness of the song was really brought out because the way Hui Xian's sings is sweet and cute but the warmth was not eally there, to be honest. She did attempt a more matured stage image and I congratulate her for that and her heaving weakness was improved. Her stage movement was actually ok for but who knows? The marks given was 6.5 +7.5+6.5=20.5 which is really her usual marks. She does not really have breakthroughs. I would have given her 7.5

我的爱 原唱者: 孙燕姿, Stefanie
Zhengning's voice, as you all know, is limited and her voice to tell the truth, could not hit the low notes at all, even worse than Hui Xian and she was quite breathless after a few lines of the song as maybe the song was too difficult for her voice range.She sung off-key in some parts but what the judges said was right, her emoting was the best among all her performances and she really matured. the marks given was 6.5+6.0+6.0=18.5 I would have given her 6.5
F3 阮诗凯：
平常心 原唱者: 张惠妹, A-Mei
keely's opening was not as good and the chorus. Her opening was muffled and lacked of energy to attract my attention.She could not seem to catch the rhythm properly and her endnotes were not that clear. Her stage posture looked a little unnatural and awkard. Keely's emoting of the song was not as good as Zhengning's at the beginning part but towards the chorus and the secong part of the song, her emoting became better and she somewhat saved her performance with the last few lines. Her marks given was8.0+9.0+8.5=25.5 I would have given her 7.75

Shawn did not look that comfortable and confident with the song. Shawn was work on his lownotes and his falsetto techniques although I must admit he did seem to improved. Shawn was rushing the song a bit and his expression was a little strained but it was not bad overall.His scores were 7.5+7.5+.7.0=22.0. I would have given him a 7.5
THAT is all 4 now, I have 2 go study now, bye, very buzy, preparing for exams...hehe
when I'm free I will post more about css2 and the peerforamnce review of the rest and also what the contestants will be performing for the grand finals and the layout. It will be jing cai! And you alll muz watch the preview show on this coming mondae about all the gossip and romances. There will be duets like Hui Xian and Benjamin, Agnes and Guahao etc. WACTH OUT...
